By means of calculation of the failure probability of the triple-redundancy,dual-redundancy and none-redundancy working modes of excitation regulators,this paper compares the probabilities of correct regulation for normal operation,partly refused operation and completely refused operation,and indicates the advantages and disadvantages of the triple-redundancy excitation regulator.
