The main examination methods of cervical diseases include cytological examination of the cervix [such as cervical smear,thinprep cytologic test(TCT)],detection of human papillomavirus(HPV),endocervical cell smear and histological examination(such as colposcopy,cervical biopsy,cervical conization etc.

Methods 64 cases were examined by ThinPrep test cytologic screening and cervical biopsy, with the results compared blindly.

Objective To study the accuracy of cervical biopsy by colposcopy in diagnosis of cervial diseases.

Application of modified cervical conization in diagnosis and treatment of cervical lesion;

Objective:Measure was made for the depth of glandular involvement by Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia(CIN) grade 2 and 3 in order to provide guidelines for cervical conization, aiming to reduce the local recurrence and prevent over treatment.

Conclusion:Cervical conization plays an important role in the diagnosis and therapy of patients with CINⅢ,which can\'t be instead of colposcopic multi-point biopsy.

【Materials and methods】Between January 2004 and January 2007,the 86 patients with CINⅢundergoing concentration in Shandong Provincial Hospital were divided into two groups,one group stages 45 cases received conization of cervix,another group stages 41 cases received complete hysterectomy.

Conclusion:Conization of cervix plays a very important role in the diagnosis and treatment of CIN.

Conization of cervix is a nonalternative method in diagnosis and treatment of high risk model CIN and can decrease the infection of HPV.

Clinical experience of diagnostic and therapeutic cold knife conization for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia
