The effects of the content of wear resistant particles and activated sintering agents on the mechanical and friction and wear properties of copper alloyed based dynamic seal materials have been studied,moreover, microstructure of the materials was observed.

By adding vanadium and niobium into ordinary high Ni-Cr cast iron and tempering treatment, there were small wear resistant particles crystallizing out and distributing uniformly and dispersedly in the matrix; the graphite in both the outer layer and core area of the roll became smaller and more rounded; carbides distribution in outer layer became more uniformly and dispersedly.

Under the analyses of the development state for the debris on-line monitor in gearbox,the paper presents a kind of debris on-line monitor,in which the Electromagnet is used to cluster the debris,and HALL Components are used to measure the changes of the concentration for the debris in oil.

The wear debris of three semi-metallic friction materials reinforced by low carbon steel fiber,brass fiber and pure copper fiber respectively,and grey cast iron couple woren at different temperatures were studied by XRD and EDAX.
