本文通过对勐腊县纳卡村老年慢性疾病的田野调查,应用医学人类学的理论和方法,探讨了该村寨老年慢性疾病与生态环境、文化之间的相互关系,比较了纳卡村、勐伴镇、勐腊县老年慢性疾病的排序差异及其原因,分析了纳卡村老年人对疾病的认知、求医行为以及寨神树、寺庙在老年人身心健康中的作用。

Numerous epidemiological and clinical studies have indicated that hyperhomocysteninemia (plasma homocysteine level is above 15 μmol/L) is a risk factor for many sclerostic diseases such as atherosclerosis,cardiovascular diseases,Alzheimer diseases,diabetes,end stage renal disease (ESRD) and so on.

老年性骨质疏松
骨质疏松的一种临床类型。其发病率可随年龄而增高，女性明显高于男性。主要由于老年性激素水平低下，蛋白质合成代谢减弱所致。骨基质形成不足，患者可有周身持续性骨痛，以脊柱、骨盆区及骨折处多见。机体活动明显受到障碍，可有不同程度的肌肉萎缩和脊椎压缩性骨折，从而引起身长可缩短，胸廓畸形，影响心肺功能。应采取针对病因同时对症的治疗措施。
