性质:(一)preserver  胶片在显影液中起保护作用不使其被空气所氧化的化学物质。保护剂是一种较活泼的还原剂,可先于显影剂被氧化而起到保护作用。常用的保护剂有黑白显影液中的亚硫酸钠和与之并用于彩显中的羟胺。亚硫酸钠除有保护作用外还有再生显影剂的能力,并且是卤化银溶剂,有微粒显影作用。(二)protective agent  原子吸收光谱分析中用于消除化学干扰的一种缓冲剂。它与待测元素形成稳定的化合物,使待测元素不与干扰物反应,起到“保护”待测元素不受干扰的作用。也可将干扰物“保护”起来,使其不与待测元素反应。
