The flexible dynamic model of a multi-axis synchronous gantry machining center main structure is adopted with a finite element analysis software SAMCEF Mecano.

In the dynamic design of high speed and high precision 5 axis gantry machining center,the contact parameters of guide surfaces had been acquired by the dynamic tests and they had been applied to the numerical simulation model to improve accuracy of the simulation model.
