| 瓜洲镇 位于中国扬州市南18千米里运河入江口，隔江与镇江金山寺相对，属江苏邗江县。瓜洲原为长江流沙冲积而成。始于晋，因洲形如瓜得名。唐宋即为江边巨镇。光绪年间瓜洲城坍入江中。今瓜洲镇原是城北四里铺，1965年建镇。1990年人口1.56万，面积14.2平方千米。有一座中小型水利枢纽工程  瓜洲闸。名胜古迹有瓜洲石渡及为纪念鉴真东渡而建的瓜洲石渡纪念碑。 |
