   由水面舰艇、飞机发(投)射,在水中一定深度爆炸毁伤潜艇及其他目标的水中武器。简称深弹。它与发(投)射装置、射击指挥控制系统、探测设备等构成深水炸弹武器系统。深水炸弹通常为圆柱体,内装常规炸药(或核装药)和引信(定时、触发、非触发或复合引信)。核装药深水炸弹,多用作反潜导弹的弹头。火箭式深水炸弹通常装配在舰艇首部,多管快速齐射,由火箭发动机推进,以尾翼稳定其空中飞行和入水下沉的全程弹道,射程为数百米到数千米,主要用于攻击潜艇,也可用于攻击水面舰船。
