We investigate an experimental method for analyzing the influence of tail jet on the ventilated supercavitation flow field of underwater vehicle.

In the paper,the use of the finite volume method based on the computational fluid dynamics software Fluent,the cavitation flow fields in the cantilever Reed-whistle with same nozzle thickness、different reed length and different distance between the reed and the nozzle were simulated adopting the standard k-εepsilon model and multiphase flow model of cavitation.
