子宫颈癌腔内放射治疗
子宫颈癌腔内放射治疗始于本世纪初，利用镭为放射源，在其衰变过程中释放出高能γ射线可杀伤癌细胞。由于放射源宫腔管含镭量不同和阴道容器的形式及宽度不同，以及治疗时间长短不同，腔内放疗形成三种方法：①斯德哥尔摩法，此法为高剂量、短时间(宫腔管含镭43～74mg，阴道容器为不同宽度含镭50～75mg，治疗2次，每次20～24小时)；②巴黎法，此法为低剂量、长时间(宫腔管含镭33.3mg，阴道容器置于二侧穹隆各含镭13.3mg，治疗时间120小时)；③曼彻斯特法，系由巴黎法演变而来，其阴道容器有大、中、小号卵圆形容器(每次治疗48～72小时)。60年代后，我国医科院肿瘤医院吴恒兴等研制出北京型镭容器，临床使用，并得到国际承认。
