突尼斯古罗马竞技场。坐落在突尼斯东部苏塞城与斯法克斯城之间的杰姆村。建于230～238年，是世界上保存最好的古罗马竞技场。呈椭圆形,长径 148米,短径122米。用长1米、宽0.7米、高0.5米的大石块砌成。位于中央的表演区亦呈椭圆形，长65米，宽39米，周围有3米高的安全石墙。外围有3层希腊古典科林斯式柱子组成的拱廊,每一层有拱孔60个,总高36米。看台宽广，可容纳观众约4～6万人。1726年，奥斯曼帝国皇帝为镇压抗拒捐税的义民，下令向场内开炮，竞技场遭到严重破坏，仅留下原建筑的五分之三左右，但大部分安全石墙、地下通道、拱廊以及部分阶梯式座席保存较好。
