To improve the performance of the maximum power point tracking(MPPT) control of the wind energy generation system(WEGS) with direct-driven permanent magnet synchronous generators(PMSG),the principle of MPPT control of the WEGS using optical characteristic curve was explained according to wind turbine output characteristics.
