性质:又名锑赭石。斜方晶系。晶体呈针状;通常成块状、皮壳状或粉末状集合体。莫氏硬度4~5。相对密度4.1。油脂光泽、珍珠光泽或土状光泽。黄色、白色或无色。条痕淡黄色或白色。见于锑矿床的氧化带,系辉锑矿等含锑硫化物氧化后所形成的次生矿物,因而有时可见到呈辉锑矿柱状晶形的假象产出。量多时可作锑矿石利用和黄色颜料。
