性质:为苯乙烯均聚物。无色透明、高光泽。加工性、着色性、刚性和电绝缘性良好,但质脆易裂。耐酸碱、氧化还原剂、醇类和洗涤剂,不耐烃类和氯烃类溶剂。拉伸强度36~52MPa,弯曲模量2620~3380MPa,悬臂梁缺口冲击韧性19~24J/m。热变形温度76~94℃。体积电阻率1017~1019Ω·cm,介电常数(50~106Hz)2.2~2.7,介质损耗正切(50~106Hz)0.0001~0.0002,介电强度19.7kV/mm。系由苯乙烯在引发剂存在下进行自由基聚合得到。工业生产均用连续本体聚合法。主要用作音像制品和光盘磁盘盒,灯具和室内装饰件,高频电绝缘零件。其双轴取向薄膜为包装和电器工业的主要材料。
