Experimental study of electric analog for the percolation characteristics of multilateral wells at immediate vicinity of wellbore

In the course of oil recovery from Dalinghe reservoir of district Shu 2, Shuguang, Liaohe, the precipitation of heavy petroleum constituents (resin, asphaltene, and wax) and of scaling inorganic compounds in the formation water appears in the near bore zones of production wells and leads to well plugging frequently.

The formaton damage caused by asphaltene deposits in near bore zones as a problem deeply concerned by the international petroleum industry in recent years is reviewed.

Three classes of blockage removal technologies for treating near borehole zones of oil production wells,presently used and under study,are reviewed on the basis of 17 papers published(besides of microbiological ones as the 4th class);their principles,advantages and disadvantages,and uses are presented.
