性质:数量和符号都随土壤环境中pH值的变化而发生变化的电荷。是由于土壤固相的水合氧化物型表面从介质中吸附离子或向介质中释放离子而引起的。土壤胶体中所有氧化物、水合氧化物、氢氧化物以及水铝英石等都可产生可变电荷。高岭石的边面也有两性行为。所有腐殖质的负电荷都是可变电荷。可变电荷产生的原因较为复杂,目前有的还不十分清楚。
