（1）劳动生产率是生产者生产某种使用价值的效率，通常是以单位时间内生产的产品数量或者以生产单位产品所需要的劳动时间来表示的。劳动生产率的高低取决于如下一些因素：劳动者的平均熟练程度；生产过程的社会组织形式；科学技术发展及其在生产工艺上的应用程度；技术装备及原材料的质量；自然条件等。 （2）劳动生产率对价值量的影响 ①就整个生产部门而言，劳动生产率与单位时间生产的使用价值成正比，而与单位产品的价值量成反比。 ②就单个生产者而言，劳动生产率与单位时间生产的价值量成正比。 （3）在其它条件不变的情况下，随着科学技术的进步和生产的发展，商品的价值量有下降的趋势。
