【性状】
本品呈扁圆形，直径2～3.5mm，厚1～1.5mm。表面棕黑色，有的红棕色， 有光泽，两面微凹，中部略有纵向隆起。顶端有突起的柱基，基部有浅棕色略突起的果 梗痕，有的有膜质花被残留。质硬。气微，味淡。

总灰分 不得过5.0％ （附录Ⅸ K）。
【性味与归经】
咸，微寒。归肝、胃经。
【功能与主治】
散血消癥，消积止痛。用于癥瘕痞块，瘿瘤肿痛，食积不消，胃 脘胀痛。

15～30g。外用适量，熬膏敷患处。
【贮藏】
置干燥处。
