subacute sclerosing panencephalitis,SSPE
脑的慢病毒感染，病原为麻疹病毒。潜伏期长达数月至数年。亚急性或慢性起病，病情进展缓慢，发病机制不明。主要病变为大脑枕叶及脑干弥漫性细胞浸润，胶质细胞增生，神经元少和脱髓鞘，嗜酸性包涵体形成，病史长者有明显脑萎缩。8～14岁儿童多见，男多于女。临床表现似弥漫性退行性脑病，不发热、无全身症状及脑膜刺激征。病程分四期，病初为学习退步，语言障碍；数周至数月后出现肌阵挛、震颤、惊厥或皮质盲等症状；最后智力或意识全部丧失，肢体强直。终因并发感染或呼吸衰竭而死亡，预后不良。其脑电图显示在节律紊乱基础上，周期性高幅慢波和棘波有助于诊断。尚缺乏有效治疗。
