1.亦作"两浙"。 2.浙东和浙西的合称。(1)唐肃宗时析江南东道为浙江东路和浙江西路，钱塘江以南简称浙东﹑以北简称浙西。宋代有两浙路。地辖今江苏省长江以南及浙江省全境。唐元稹《奉和浙西大夫李德裕述梦四十韵》:"九霄难就日，两浙仅容舠。"《宋史．太宗纪二》:"﹝淳化三年十一月﹞己亥，禁两浙诸州巫师。"《古今小说．简帖僧巧骗皇甫妻》:"世世靴从不断，子孙出入金门。他是两浙钱王子，吴越国王孙。"《二刻拍案惊奇》卷六:"至正末年，张士诚气概弄得大了，自江南江北﹑三吴﹑两浙直拓至两广益州，尽归掌握。"(2)今浙江省以富春江等为界分为浙东﹑浙西。两浙指浙江省。郁达夫《两浙漫游后记》:"统观两浙的山，当以自黄山西来的昱岭山脉莫干山脉天目山脉为主峰。"
