【性状】
本品为无色的澄明液体。
【鉴别】
本品显钠盐与碳酸氢盐的鉴别反应（附录Ⅲ）。
【检查】
pH值 应为7.5 ～8.5 （附录Ⅵ H）。 不溶性微粒 取装量为100ml 或100ml 以上的本品1 瓶，依法检查（附录Ⅸ C）， 应符合规定。 热原 取本品，依法检查（附录Ⅺ D），剂量按家兔体重每1kg 缓缓注射10ml，应 符合规定。 其他 应符合注射剂项下有关的各项规定（附录Ⅰ B）。
【含量测定】
精密量取本品适量（约相当于碳酸氢钠0.5g），加水使成50ml，加 甲基红-溴甲酚绿混合指示液10滴，用盐酸滴定液(0.5mol/L)滴定至溶液由绿色转变为 紫红色，煮沸2 分钟，冷却至室温，继续滴定至溶液由绿色转变为暗紫色。每1ml盐酸 滴定液(0.5mol/L)相当于42.00mg 的NaHCO3。
