【制法】
取国家批准的菌种，接种于牛肉消化液琼脂上，于33～34℃培养。成熟的典型芽孢达 80％以 上，收集菌苔，经纯菌、浓度、及活菌率等项测定合格后，稀释，分装制成。
【性状】
本品为灰白色的混悬液，放置后芽孢易下沉，但振摇后能均匀分散。
【鉴别】
取本品，照《中国生物制品规程》规定的方法进行噬菌体裂解试验，应有明显噬斑。
【检查】
照《中国生物制品规程》规定的方法检查如下项目。 菌含量 每1ml含弱毒炭疽菌应为32亿～48亿个，其中活菌率应不少于50％。 纯菌 取本品，依法检查，应符合规定。 特异毒性 取本品，用体重2～2.5kg的家兔5只，每只皮下注射每1ml含2.5亿个芽孢的稀释液 1ml， 依法检查，应符合规定。
【效价测定】
照《中国生物制品规程》规定的方法测定，应符合规定。
