平均寻道时间（averageseektime）：指硬盘磁头移动到数据所在磁道时所用的时间，单位为毫秒（ms）。注意它与平均访问时间的差别，平均寻道时间当然是越小越好，现在我们所使用的高级硬盘完成数据的搜索只需要7-11毫秒，现在一般应该选择平均寻道时间低于9ms的产品。
