性质:是由半个椭圆球面和一圆柱直边段组成,它吸取了半球形封头受力好和碟形封头深度浅的优点。由于椭圆部分经线曲率平滑连续,故封头中的应力分布比较均匀。椭圆形封头的深度h取决于椭圆形的长、短轴之比,即封头的内径Di与封头两倍深度之比(Di/2h),其比值越小,封头的深度越大,受力均匀壁也薄,但加工制造困难;比值越大,封头深度越小,易加工制造,但受力状态差,壁厚增大。所以一般Di/2h之值以不大于2.6为宜。当Di/2h=2时,为标准椭圆形封头,它是压力容器中最常用的一种封头。
