补充资料：南普陀寺
中国佛教闽南名寺。位于福建厦门五老山下。始建于唐，五代僧人清浩改建为泗洲寺。元明以后时有兴废。清康熙年间，靖海将军施银重建，因寺中供奉以观音菩萨为主，又在浙江普陀山之南，故名南普陀。寺内建筑有天王殿、大雄宝殿、大悲殿和藏经阁等。大悲殿高约十余米，八角三层飞檐蹿角式，全以斗栱架叠而起，殿中供奉观音四尊。大雄宝殿金碧辉煌，供奉三宝千手观音等造像。藏经阁为二层阁式建筑,二楼为玉佛宝殿,供奉玉佛甚多，其中有缅甸的释迦牟尼涅槃白玉像。还有明宣德元年(1426)铜铸观音菩萨像等。阁内珍藏中外佛典经书达数万卷。寺内保存碑记刻石，有明万历二十九年(1601)陈第、沈有容题名石刻,还有清乾隆御制碑,为有关台湾林爽文、庄大田起义的实物史料。1925年会泉任住持，在此创办闽南佛学院。（见彩图）
