      化学式H2CO3。为二氧化碳溶于水生成的二元弱酸。在常温、常压下,二氧化碳饱和溶液的浓度约为0.033Μ,pH为4。二氧化碳在溶液中大部分以微弱结合的水合物形式存在,只有一小部分形成H2CO3。在常温时CO2:H2CO3为600:1。碳酸的热稳定性很差,在加热时全部分解并放出二氧化碳。碳酸在碱的作用下,可分别生成酸式碳酸盐和碳酸盐。
