本文描记采于云南省路南县黑龙潭水库的桃花水母属一新种一云南桃花水母，新种主辐触手显著长于其他触手，缘膜窄，平衡囊呈“S”形管状，刺丝囊集成丛，呈不连续的环状或螺旋状，生殖腺大，三角袋状，黑色，可明显与所有已发现的种相区别。
