以板管作为传热元件的换热器,又称薄片换热器。它主要由板管束和壳体两部分组成(图中)。将冷压成形的成对板条的接触处严密地焊接在一起,构成一个包含多个扁平流道的板管(图中)。许多个宽度不等的板管按一定次序排列。为保持板管之间的间距,在相邻板管的两端镶进金属条,并与板管焊在一起。板管两端部便形成管板,从而使许多板管牢固地连接在一起构成板管束。板管束的端面呈现若干扁平的流道 (图中)。板管束装配在壳体内,它与壳体间靠滑动密封消除纵向膨胀差。设备截面一般为圆形,也有矩形、六边形等。A流体在板管内流动,B流体则在壳体内的板管间流动。板壳式换热器是介于管壳式换热器和板式换热器之间的一种结构形式,它兼顾了二者的优点:①以板为传热面,传热效能好。传热系数约为管壳式换热器的 2倍。②结构紧凑,体积小。③耐温、抗压,最高工作温度可达800℃,最高工作压力达 6.3兆帕。④扁平流道中流体高速流动,且板面平滑,不易结垢,板束可拆出,清洗也方便。但这种换热器制造工艺较管壳式换热器复杂,焊接量大且要求高,因而它的推广应用受到一定限制。板壳式换热器用于化工、造纸、制药和食品等工业部门。典型产品主要用于要求传热效能好而停留时间短的食品、医药等加工工业。
