PenW0n喷丸(shot peening)用钢铁丸或玻璃丸喷射金属零件表面的表面防护方法。喷丸处理可提高材料的疲劳强度、抗应力腐蚀能力和表面硬度。通过离心力或压缩空气喷射丸粒,使其以很高的速度冲击零件,可在表面产生塑性变形层,缓和机加工和热处理残留的张应力,形成残余压应力。喷丸处理后零件使用温度不能过高,以免残余压应力消失。钢铁件最高使用温度为260~290‘C,铝件为170‘C。 喷丸处理一般控制喷丸强度达到所需的压应力。影响喷丸强度的主要因素有:丸粒直径、丸粒硬度、喷丸速度、喷射角度和丸粒破碎量。常用的丸粒有铸铁丸、铸钢丸和玻璃丸,直径范围0.15一4mm。中等尺寸的丸粒(直径和6一。.75mm)常用于对金属材料进行喷丸处理。 喷丸处理也可用于表面预处理,消除铸件、锻件或热处理后零件表面的型砂及氧化皮,清理焊渣,还能对扭曲的薄壁零件进行校正。 (李宜)
