As a novel material, Poly (p-dioxanone)(PPDO) has been synthesized in the 1970s, but it has not been widely used now because of its high value and some other defects such as the low biodegradation rate, low crystallization rate, hydrophobicity etc.

性质:白色结晶。熔点157-159℃。溶于乙醇、丙酮和苯,微溶于水。有清香味。

制备方法:由苯酚与氯乙酸缩合后,经氯化而得。1.缩合将熔化的苯酚与15%氢氧化钠溶液混合,又将氯乙酸水溶液加碳酸钠中和,两者投入反应锅混合,加热回流4h。反应毕,加盐酸调至pH为2-3,搅拌冷却,结晶,过滤,冰水洗涤,干燥,得苯氧乙酸。2.氯化将苯氧乙酸和冰醋酸混合搅拌溶解,加入碘片,在26-34℃通氯。通氯结束后放置过夜,次日在冷水中析出结晶,过滤,用水洗至中性,干燥得成品。

用途:植物生长激素、用作生长调节剂、落果防止剂、除草剂,可用于蕃茄、蔬菜、桃树等,也用作医药中间体。
