玉米须炖瘦肉：适用于血热型。取玉米须30克，瘦肉120克，精盐适量，味精少许。将瘦肉切块，与玉米须一起放入陶罐内，加水500毫升，上蒸笼加盖清蒸至肉熟，加精盐、味精，趁热服用。玉米须有凉血止血的作用，民间常用来治“红崩”，瘦肉能补血，两者配合，故治血热型“功血”疗效显著。
