为常染色体隐性遗传。表现:生长矮小。骨硬化并有横断骨折倾向,约有2/3的病人有骨折史,常在颌骨、锁骨及下肢,包括骨。额部及枕部隆起,颅缝闭合延迟,前囟持续存在,缝间骨,缺少额窦。面部发育不良,鼻高,上腭呈窄沟状,下颌角钝或小。牙齿不整,有或无部分缺齿,出牙延迟,龋齿,往往需牙科处理。锁骨发育不良致肩峰端丧失。末节指骨短,为骨质溶解性发育不良。末节指骨背侧皮肤起皱纹。指甲扁形或沟状。
