性质:黄色或浅黄色结晶性粉末。易溶于氯仿、苯和四氯化碳,溶于丙酮、乙醚,微溶于乙醇,不溶于水和甲醇。遇光易分解。

制备方法:从提取细胞色素C后的猪心残渣中提取。步骤如下:猪心残渣[皂化]皂化液[萃取]萃取液[浓缩、过滤]浓缩液[吸附][洗涤][洗脱]洗脱液[浓缩]黄色油状物[结晶][干燥]辅酶Q10从每公斤新鲜猪心中可提取60.9mg辅酶Q10。也可采用发酵法生产。美国专利3068295,389153和4062879叙述了辅Q10的合成路线。

用途:心血管药。
