性质:存在于芫荽、芳樟、薰衣草、杂薰衣草、天香百合(Lilium auratura)、厚壳桂(Cryptocaria aschersoniana)等精油中。有五元环呋喃型A和六元环吡喃型B两种异构体,香料中通常指A。无色液体。具强的花-木香气。沸点95℃(3.3kPa),相对密度0.940~0.945。折射率1.451~1.455。由芳樟醇用有机过酸氧化所得的环氧化物经加热或用酸处理后取得。用于日用香精及配制杂薰衣草等精油,极少量用于水蜜桃、芒果、西番莲等食用香精。
