    又名乙酸桂酯、醋酸肉桂酯。无色油状液体。分子量176.22。密度1.05g/cm3。沸点265℃。闪点118℃。微溶于水。溶于油和醇。以l:5溶于70%乙醇。具有特有的类似风信子及香脂香气,辣甜的类似菠萝的味道。
    生产方法:主要采用酯化法。以乙酸和肉桂醇为原料,在硫酸存在下进行酯化反应,然后经中和、洗涤、蒸馏而得。
    用途:酯类合成香料。主要用作风信子、丁香、铃兰、素馨、桅子等香精的调合香料及定香剂,肉桂醇的矫香剂。
