性质:又称大黄苷。升华后可得黄色针状晶体。熔点321~322℃,330℃分解。不溶于水,溶于碱性溶液及吡啶,微溶于乙醇、氯仿、乙醚、石油醚及苯。有红色的钾盐形式与粉红色的钠盐形式。存在于蓼科植物掌叶大黄(Rheum palmatum L.)的根茎,何首乌(Polygonum mul-tiflorum Thunb.)的根,豆科植物狭叶番淀(Cassia angustifolia Vahl)的荚等中。有抗菌、抗癌、导泻、利尿作用。
