性质:HMP磷酸戊糖通路(支路或旁路)。其特点是葡萄糖直接脱氢和脱羧,不必先经过三碳糖的阶段。因此这个途径中不包含EMP途径,也不包含三羧酸循环。此代谢途径可形成(NADPH+H+)即谓还原型辅酶Ⅱ及C4,C5,C7等磷酸酯中间产物。它可以再经过一系列生化反应进入糖酵解或有氧氧化通路进行分解代谢。其主要生理意义是机体利用葡萄糖生成5-磷酸核糖(是核酸的主要成分)的惟一代谢途径,此通路生成的(NADPH+H+)还是某些重要反应的供氢体。
