俗称宝塔子，位于忠县城北8千米处的涂井乡佑溪村。建于东汉，已有1800余年历史，至今保存完好。阙身高5.44米，共有九层，四方阔8米，是一座由九墩不同形状的石料相互攀附、叠砌而成的奇特建筑物。基础粗壮而稳重，正面雕一只似龙非龙，似虎非虎的怪兽，其上有挂、方、栏额、斗拱匹配成阙身、阙檐、阙盖。第三层和第六层角上分别镂刻着男女裸体力士，形态勇猛健美，弯腰屈膝，全身用劲，好似整个碑阙由他们抬着。在力士上下左右雕满了各种飞禽走兽。阙盖以一个象征吉祥长寿的龟形怪物作为瓦楞。
