性质:亦即聚甲基苯基硅氧烷泡沫塑料(polymethyl-phenyl siloxane foam)。有机硅泡沫塑料商品分两类,一类是由硅树脂、填料、发泡剂和催化剂组成的粉状料,压缩强度1.94MPa(20℃),0.58MPa(250℃),0.54MPa(300℃);线收缩率为0.5%(250℃/lOOh),2.0%(300℃/100h);相对介电常数2.1(1010Hz);介质损耗因数0.013(1010Hz);200℃热导率8.72×10-2W/(m·K),20~200℃线膨胀系数(7.7~10) ×10-5℃-1由无溶剂硅树、填料、发泡剂和催化剂经熔融混合后粉碎而制取。当加热到160℃,发泡剂分解,同时树脂交联固化成泡沫塑料。另一类是由含硅羟基和硅氢键的两种液体聚硅氧烷混合,加入催化剂后,利用反应放出的氢气使之发泡并交联得到泡沫体。有机硅泡沫塑料质轻、耐高温、抗湿,可作为宇航器、火箭中的填充材料及高温绝热体。
