新首都机场
主航站楼工程是首都机场扩建工程的核心部分，位于首都机场东跑道东侧。是具有世界一流功能和特色的现代化超大型航空枢纽，建筑面积为28万平方米，地下两层，地上5层，建筑高度45米，结构类型为钢筋混凝土及钢结构设计，标段总价为48亿元人民币。
位于北京市郊顺义县天竺镇首都国际机场内，工程建筑面积33.5万平方米，占地面积约10万平方米，建筑物平面呈“工”字型，南北长747米，南北指廊东西宽343米，中央大厅东西宽121米，单层面积达9万平方米。
新航站楼的南、北、东侧共设有36个登机桥，可同时停靠36架飞机。楼内设自动步道、自动扶梯、配有168个办票柜台、设有行李自动分检、安全检查、楼宇自动化控制、内部通讯等先进的机场管理系统。
据悉，工程将于28日破土动工，2007年9月建成。根据设计规模，到2015年，新航站楼可满足年旅客吞吐量3500万人次的需要。届时，扩建后的首都机场年旅客吞吐总量可达到6000万人次，货邮吞吐量180万吨，飞机起降50万架次，高峰时每小时飞机起降124架次。
