The paper first briefs the development of electromagnetic emission technology,then focus on Electric Magnetic Gun(EMG)——a kinetic weapon system from which the super high speed projects is launched with electromagnetic emission technology.

In order to explore variable law of EM gun movement parameters,the motion process of plasma armature was analyzed in theory,and the mathematic model between armature speed and current was established.

Analyzing the circuit parameters of pulse power source and the parameters of EM gun,an equation concerning the two kinds of parameters was obtained and the source circuit was designed.

The electrothermal properties and conversion of solid armature in electromagnetic railgun were analyzed.

Based on the B dot magnetic probe measuring computer system, the three measuring mathematical modes for the distribution of length and velocity of plasma armature arc in the railgun bore were established, and some conclusions deduced from the measuring mathematical mode were put forward.
