The Yellow River-crossing project (YRCP) is the most critical structure on the trunk canal of Middle Route Project (MRP) for South-to-North transfer.
穿黄工程是南水北调中线总干渠与黄河的交叉建筑物,工程采用双隧洞并排穿过黄河,由于该河段是黄河由峡谷进入冲积性平原的过渡性河段,为典型的游荡性河道,河谷宽度达7~8km,最宽处可达11km,在穿黄工程线路处,河谷宽7。
