In order to ensure head in front of pumping station for water diversion to meet power plant need safely under low flow condition, a key project of low dam was constructed on the mainstream of the Jin River.

Analysis of dynamic effect characteristic for high dam foundation under earthquake load;

The article checks and calculates the designed flood,checked flood peak flux,flood level,flood discharge ability, and dam height of Xijing hydropower station,which shows the flood discharge ability and dam height can meet the require- ment of security.

By random vibration theory,the effects of dam height and foundation stiffness of gravity dam on its seismic response are studied.

This paper has obtained some law,which is of great value for reference to making stability analysis of dam abutments by deriving a solution to the thrust at springer of an arch dam based on the relationship between the water load and the dam height.
