在生物和化学领域中,生化传感器是进行各种实验研究的必要条件和工作基础。研制特异性强,灵敏度高,响应时间短的高性能传感器一直是人们追求的目标。简单的说,传感器就是一种信息获取与处理的装置。人体的感觉器官就是一套完美的传感系统,通过眼、耳、皮肤来感知外界的光、声、温度、压力等物理信息,通过鼻、舌感知气味和味道这样的化学刺激。对物质成分传感的器件就是化学传感器,它是一种小型化的、能专一和可逆地对某种化学成分进行应答反应的器件,并能产生与该成分浓度成比例的可测信号。而生物传感器是以生物活性单元(如酶、抗体、核酸、细胞等)作为生物敏感单元,对被测物具有高度选择性的监测器。由于二者之间关系密切,人们常常把它们合在一起称为生化传感器。
