北京云蒙山花岗岩为一中生代侵入的花岗岩穹隆,花岗岩穹隆的叶理普遍发育,叶理轨迹基本平行于穹隆的外部边界,并显示出从核部到边部逐渐增强,东南侧明显强于西北侧的特点。

花岗岛
花岗岛在浙江省洞头县状元岙岛的南部，南距县城北岙镇4.5公里，即北纬27o52′49″，东经121o08′46″。岛屿面积0.31平方公里；岸线总长2.9公里；最高海拔96.8米。地势东部高、西部低，多为基石海岸，东面沿岸多礁石，东北部岸坡岩石陡峭，西南沿岸低缓有泥沙沉积带。花岗岛为村级岛，设花岗1个村，属元觉乡。
截至1992年底，有人口706人。
花岗岛有山地0.31平方公里。土壤分类有红壤10.83公顷（棕红泥土）；粗骨土11.53公顷（棕石砂土）。其中有旱耕地面积44.15公顷；山上有马尾松
