| 《国语》 杂记中国西周、春秋时周、鲁、齐、晋、郑、楚、吴 、越八国人物、事迹、言论的国别史。又称《春秋外传》。大约是春秋末鲁人左丘明所作，与《左传》同为解说《春秋》经的姐妹篇。近代学者研究证实，春秋时有称为瞽矇的盲史官，专门记诵、讲述古今历史。左丘明即是略早于孙子的著名瞽矇。瞽矇讲述的史事被后人笔录成书，称为《语》，按国别区分即为《周语》、《鲁语》等，总称为《国语》。战国时该书已流行于世。全书21卷，记事上至西周早期，下至战国之初，但以春秋时期为主，《国语》是价值很高的原始素材，所以司马迁编著《史记》时曾大量取材于此。三国时吴人韦昭为《国语》作解，总结了汉代学者注释的成果。清人董增龄作《国语正义》，近人徐元浩作《国语集解》，汇集历代有关解说，颇便研讨。
