Based on the retrospect of the communication of classical Chinese literature overseas, this paper shows that, being introducted over the seas by foreigners, may be more appropriate than spreading abroad of classical Chinese literature.
本文主要通过对中国古代文学在国外传播的历史回顾认为,长期以来"中国文学对外传播"这一"主动传播"说难以成立,说成"被动传播",即"国外对中国文学的引进"也许更为恰切,或者至多只能是一种被动传播;同时,也总结出长期以来中国古代文学在国外传播的特点以及缺陷,如:文学作品原旨与韵味的流失,对作家、作品的误解等,在此基础上对未来中国文学的对外传播提出希望。
