At present the instrumental ensemble teaching is weak or even blank in the Higher Teachers Institutions,the author gives this analysis and offers some ideas of setting the ensemble class from such aspects as teahing curriculum objectives,the class types and arrangements,and of the problems arising in class and the solutions to them,so that the reform of the Music education in the Higher Teachers .

In view of the situation of valuing technical ability and despising the humanities, which caused the weak,even lack of construction of public elective curriculum in higher vo- cational colleges and universities,the article expounds the subject and content of curriculum construction,and gives some suggestions on course type offering,offering to which grade and period proportion and so on.
