The excavation at the Huangye kiln site at Gongyi carried out in four times from 2002 to 2004 by the Provincial Institute of Archaeology revealed the kiln furnaces dated to the Han ,Tang, Song and Yuan Dynasties and potter’s establishments such as workshops and pools for washing clay.

Among them, a piece of Sancai glazed pottery plate with blue galze may be produced at Huangye kiln of Gongyi.
