| 三监 中国周代周武王灭商后为监管殷遗民而采取的措施。周武王攻下商都朝歌后，纣王被迫自焚而死，商亡，但商的奴隶主阶级仍保存了很强的实力。为加强对殷民的控制，巩固西周在中原地区的统治，武王封商王纣之子武庚于商都，并将商的王畿分为卫、鄘、邶3个封区 ，分别由武王弟管叔、蔡叔、霍叔去统治，以监视武庚，总称三监。一说武王以邶封武庚，以鄘封管叔，以卫封蔡叔，以图安抚殷民、监视武庚，称为三监。 |
